Spooky Season Movie Marathon

Happy spooky season witches!

It is October 1st and that means that it is once again time to celebrate SPOOKY SEASON! Everything about Autumn makes my soul sing: the crisp air, the leaves changing various shades of crimson and gold, the savory foods, the hot apple cider, the cozy sweaters. It is pure magic and I love every minute of it!

I think what I love most about Autumn is the way that it brings people together for apple picking, pie baking, pumpkin carving, and turkey eating. While it all seems simple, I smile at the thought of people spending some genuine time together.

Year after year, season after season, I feel like I am in a constant state of looking forward without ever really stopping to enjoy the present moment. This year I want to change that - but rather than wait for 2020 to make it a resolution, I am starting now!

This year, in order to FULLY embrace the most wonderful season of all, I thought it would be fun to have a month-long marathon! That is right folks…for the entire month of October, Shawn and I are going to watch a spooky-themed movie every night - don’t worry, there are plenty of other Autumn activities on the schedule for this month that I will definitely keep you informed on as well!

As I am not the biggest fan of the Horror genre, I recruited the help of Shawn to come up with a plethora of diverse options to capture the holiday spirit (I am sure you can probably differentiate between my choices and Shawn’s suggestions fairly easily).
